About Mintlane
Mintlane is an independent one-person mobile studio in Germany. It builds three apps for Android and iOS: Medifix for medication reminders, Noralia for private cycle tracking and Smartigo for a daily walk for your head.
Who is behind it
Mintlane is run by Stefan Hirche as a sole trader in Cologne, Germany (see the imprint for the legal details). There is no investor, no advertising partner and no data broker behind the apps. Questions, bug reports and feature requests go straight to the developer: hello@mintlane.io.
What we build, and why it works this way
Each app solves one everyday problem that existing tools handle badly, and each is built so that your data stays on your phone: no account, no ads, an encrypted database on the device and no Mintlane server that stores health data. What actually leaves the phone is listed app by app in the Trust Center, and it is checked against the code.
- Medifix: medication reminders that ring even on silent.
- Noralia: a period and cycle tracker without account or cloud.
- Smartigo: one short stage a day of mental maths, memory and logic.
How the guides are written
An AI assistant helps draft the guides. Every menu name, setting and number in them is checked against the app itself before a guide goes online, and where something could not be checked, the page says so. The guides explain how the apps work and why. They give no advice on what a medication or your cycle means for you.
Medifix and Noralia are memory and tracking aids, not medical devices. Noralia’s predictions are estimates, not diagnoses. Smartigo is a game for entertainment, with no promises about intelligence, memory or health. For medical questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
