Two apps, one principle

Both handle data that is nobody else's business — what you take, and what your body does. Neither needs a server to do its job, so neither has one.

Medifix — medication reminders that ring on silent
The reminder app for people whose phone is usually muted. Exact alarms on Android and critical alerts on iOS mean a dose reminder behaves like an alarm clock, not a notification. What "local-first" actually means here

The phrase gets used loosely. These are the specific commitments behind it.

What we don't do
  • No account walls — nothing to register for, ever.
  • No advertising SDKs and no analytics libraries in the apps.
  • No selling, sharing or brokering of health data. There is no pipeline for it.
  • No cloud backup of medication or cycle data, even as an opt-in.
What we do instead
  • Health data lives in an AES-256 encrypted database on your device.
  • Apps work fully offline, so a lost connection never costs you a reminder.
  • Every permission the app requests is named and explained on its page.
  • Export and delete your data yourself, without asking a support team.

Every app is free to use at its core, works without an account, and keeps your data on your device. The aim is to build things that are genuinely useful and honest about what they do — including honest about what they cannot do.
